During the Special Olympics at Osaka in November 2010, the participants were subjected to a detailed health check including hearing testing. For this purpose, a measurement of otoacoustic emissions was carried out with the MAICO ERO SCAN.

After a short instruction, up to six volunteers tested the young participants simultaneously in the examination room. The test revealed that operating the ERO SCAN is easy  and fast to learn and that the device delivers reliable measurement results within a short period of time - even in a noisy environment.
